The Nation Media Group, located in Nairobi and founded in 1959, is the largest independent media house in East and Central Africa. The Group's performance has been outstanding over the years, even during the leaner economic periods of the country, and has shown continuous growth and profits. To be highly competitive and future oriented, Nation Media since 2014 poses faith in the latest technology and automation of a new COLORMAN 4-1 e:line press from manroland web systems. For keeping it “up-to-date” throughout the next years, the company decided to invest in a comprehensive and long-term service contract.

For Keeping Up Investment and Development
The service contract includes numerous offerings from the printservices range of manroland web systems. This means complete assistance – from training and process optimization, via classical warranty, maintenance and repair at the press. Of course, everything at best quality – for a constant high performance.

A regular process optimization by manroland web systems technicians on site will support the printer at using the existing resources ideally at any time. The manroland web systems consulting services result in sustainable solutions for increased efficiency. Due to this, the productivity target can be achieved at the best possible price.

Increased Productivity
The combination of process optimization, costumer-oriented maintenance and updates that are defined at the service contract, leads to efficient employees, less downtimes and a stable and up-to-date technology; and therewith to an optimum productivity. The maintenance software MAINSYS furthermore helps to increase the efficiency at the fields of administrative functions e.g. at the production engineering, the factory and a lower capital lockup of the storage.
„We decided to opt for the service offerings of manroland web systems as we are willing to keep our printing house future proof. The printing industry of Kenya.
