Indian newspaper invests in high-performance technology from Ferag

Hamburg, 5 October 2015 – Indian newspaper Namasthe Telanga-na has ordered two production lines from Ferag. Each line com-prises one Ferag HPC High Performance Conveyor and two pro-grammable HPS High Performance Stackers.

Namasthe Telangana hat ordered two new Ferag production lines, each comprising an HPC High Performance Conveyor and two HPS High Performance Stackers. The two production lines will be con-nected to a new press, with production scheduled to start in early 2016. The HPS High Performance Stackers allow programmed bun-dle production. Standard bundles and odd counts can be produced on the compensating stacker, once an Excel list has been entered into the control using a USB stick.

A newspaper with rapid growth
Namasthe Telangana was founded on 6 June 2011 by proprietor M/s Telangana Publications Pvt. Ltd. Today, the newspaper reaches an overall circulation of 380,000 copies, of which 150,000 copies are produced in Hyderabad, the capital city of Telangana.

Four years after the first newspaper edition, and the rapid growth has already brought capacity up against its limits, triggering the invest-ment in the new production technology.

Namasthe Telangana appears in the local Telugu language, as spo-ken by more than 76 percent of the 35 million plus inhabitants of the federal state of Telangana. Namasthe Telangana serves all ten dis-tricts of the state on seven days each week.
