As in recent years, manroland web systems was the sponsor of InPEQ Forum 2015. drupa and LEONHARD KURZ Stiftung & Co. KG participated in the event as co-sponsors. Agfa Graphics and some Romanian printers, agencies and brand owners supported the event.

Josef Aumiller, Vice President Sales at manroland web systems, informed about “Latest Developments in Web Offset and Digital Printing in the Run-up to drupa 2016”. The participants followed his presentation with great interest and asked a lot of questions during the event. Printers and journalists were highly impressed by the latest manroland web systems automation technologies and by the new digital finishing solutions. The issue of improving efficiency in web offset printing companies has been discussed lively with experts and has been supported professionally by the presentation of László Szabó Bencző, Operational Manager at Infopress Group Romania, a manroland web systems customer.

On the second day of the event, professors from five member-countries presented information about scientific researches, exchanged information about professional education and qualification of students and postgraduate education, discussed possibilities for collaboration and for knowledge exchange.

This traditional event was evaluated by the participants to be the perfect platform for exchanging experiences, know-how and knowledge between manufacturers of printing equipment and materials, printers and media agencies, as well as education and qualification institutions. The very positive feedback once again showed that InPEQ Forum is an important meeting that gives East European printers and media companies the possibiliy to adapt to the new developments and to respond to the challenges in the print media industry as well as to create successful business solutions.

The next meeting of the Balkan printers and their European partners will take place at drupa 2016 in Düsseldorf, Germany.
