Gämmerler’s presence at drupa is focussed on further developments of the existing portfolio as well as on new products for additional production sectors

09.03.2016 – On its stand A80 in hall 14 the manufacturer of postpress systems places the emphasis on the demand for maximum capacity utilization in weboffset printing by efficient solutions of line control and palletizing. For digital printing Gämmerler will present a system allowing precise stacking of book- and newspaper signatures. Last but not least a completely new product for an additional production field will be introduced in hall 10.

The Gämmerler GmbH is based in Geretsried-Gelting, Germany.

Higher level control system G-Connect
G-Connect networks, synchronizes and monitors the complete postpress processes at highest automation level. The next generation of the Gämmerler logistic software LS400 ensures a maximum utilization of machine capacities and their availability for the entire production process. Due to its modularity a customized configuration of G-Connect is possible. A higher level operator software and -guidance allow the central control of all line components involved.

New gripper technology
In particular for high print runs of commercial products requiring only a few format changes there is an important demand for a slim gripper technology for gentle bundle palletizing. At drupa Gämmerler will present the new generation of its pneumatic gripper in connection with the fast automated change from bundle- to log gripper, minimizing changeover times and optimizing the availability of the complete system.

Precision stacker for digital printing with auxiliary gluing system from Planatol
Digital printing in book- and newspaper production imposes specific demands with regard to further processing, in particular the reliable, automatic identification of signatures. The new Gämmerler stacker for book- and newspaper signatures with high precision elements such as code reader, separating device and an integrated auxiliary gluing unit from Planatol ensures the uncompromised precision and reliability. Like Gämmerler the manufacturer Planatol is a company of the Blue Cap AG, ranking among the leading suppliers in the field of adhesives, adhesive applications as well as applicator systems.
