In 2015, manroland India has made a breakthrough by clinching an order for a Cromoman 4-1 newspaper press

December 1, 2016 – The Cromoman 4-1 has especially been designed considering Indian conditions. It is a 4-tower 4-1 press that is capable of versatile printing possibilities, such as 32 pages, two times 16 pages, 24 pages plus 8 pages and various possibilities of two books in parallel production. There is an additional quarter fold for magazine printing. The maximum production speed is 75,000 copies per hour.

The future starts now
“With the new CROMOMAN 4-1 we perfectly focus on our future business. Now we are able to handle various other print jobs in addition to our daily newspaper. Soon we are launching an English daily and I believe this Press will deliver best quality among other noted Dailies.”, Damodar Rao, Chairman & Managing Director of Namasthe Telangana explains the investment decision. The managing Director himself pushed the button and started the first production of sample newspapers on October 11, 2016. “Our exceptions have been more than met.”

The press is also equipped with several automation systems such as an automatic web up device or the manroland web systems Inline Control Systems for color register control with manual camera movement and cut-off control.
