Raymond McRobbie is Head of Operations for the DC Thomson Newspaper Division, which encompasses the print plant in Dundee as well as the Aberdeen operation.  Raymond (54) began his career in the offshore oil industry, and moved into newspapers in 1987.  He has been within the Operations Department of Aberdeen Journals since that time, initially working on the two daily titles in Aberdeen, the Press and Journal and the Evening Express.  The Press and Journal, first established in 1747 as the Aberdeen Journal, is Scotland’s oldest daily newspaper, and is the third oldest English-language newspaper in the World.
