In this era of fragmented news consumption, newspaper publishing houses have moved from being mono-media to become multi-media organisations. Almost all newspapers are present on print, web and mobile platforms. It is becoming increasingly necessary to have cross-media friendly advertisement departments to be able to maximise the advertising revenue. A few publishing houses have already started offering cross-media advertising options to their customers, and in future, having a cross-media advertising strategy will be vital for advertising revenue.  

The objective of the training programme is to demonstrate to advertising and sales executives the potential as well as the need for a long-term cross-media advertising strategy for a publishing house. Examples of successful online and mobile advertising programmes will be discussed to provide a better understanding of future business models.

The course will also discuss new and innovative products and services in print, mobile, internet and broadcast, as well as how media companies face the challenges of changing consumer and customer behaviour.
