David Heimburger is the editorial head of stern eMagazine. The eMagazine is the digital version of stern, the German magazine with the most readers every week. The eMagazine comes with multimedia features like interactivity, video and casual games. David Heimburger gained his experience in journalism at newspapers and magazines, radio and television, as well as online, in Germany, and also Windhoek, London, New York and Beijing. From 2005 to 2007 he was the assistant to the Editors-in-Chief of stern. After two years as head of the text department of the magazine View, he developed stern's digital edition for the iPad and Android tablets.
