Gary Hughes is Transcontinental Printing's Senior Director, Manufacturing Operation, Newspaper Group & General Manager, Vaughan Plant and has just completed the installation of hybrid printing presses in five print sites across Canada for the printing of The Globe and Mail newspaper. Prior to this project, Hughes, was responsible for the construction of the first LEED certified print facility in North America, as well as the installation of three Man Roland hybrid printing presses for the printing of the San Francisco Chronicle.

Prior to joining Transcontinental Printing Gary spent 23 years with Gannett Company, Inc. in various operational roles.
