Horst-Walter Hauer, Dipl.-Ing. (TH) studied mechanical engineering at the Ruhr University Bochum in Germany. For more than 25 years he was internationally active in printing press design for KBA. R&D department from 1981-1988, assistant to the Vice President Technology until 1993. Became Senior Manager of Planning / Project Management Newspaper in 1993. Changed to sales department in 2000 where he was responsible for strategic investment planning. Since 2008 he is the General Manager of IBH – Engineering for Print and Project Technology -. He is an authorized and court-appointed expert for printing presses and systems.
