Matt Martel is Executive Editor for Photography and Presentation at Fairfax's The Sydney Morning Herald, The Age (Melbourne) and the Australian Financial Review. He leads a staff of about 100 photographers, designers, graphic artists, illustrators and developers who create award-winning visual content across all platforms.

His team recently won five digital Society for News Design awards, a record for the region.
