Markus Pettersson works with business intelligence at Stampen Media Group and content marketing with focus on social networks for newspaper Göteborgs-Posten (GP).

Markus is a change agent for transparency and reader engagement in the organization. He has designed and implemented the strategy which has helped GP become the leading presence on social media among Swedish morning papers, including educating the newsroom. He has also had a key role in several editorial engagement projects as well as in implementing a daily newsroom chat, integrated with a transparent support forum by Swedish start-up Kundo. At Stampen he has developed a standard for analysis and quality assurance of mobile destinations, advised on mobile development and produces reports on competitive intelligence.

 His previous experience includes consulting in digital PR and strategy, as well as roles as chairman, board member and general manager both in elite clubs and at the federation of Swedish basketball
