In 2014 a Koenig & Bauer Commander CT for printing up to 48-page newspapers in Berlin format was installed at Badisches Druckhaus. In addition to the daily title “Badisches Tagblatt”, the company also produces a number of advertising journals as well as contract jobs for publishers, retailers and indus-trial companies.
DGUV regulation 3 must be carried out
§5 of DGUV 3 states: “The contractor shall ensure that electrical installations and equipment are checked regarding their proper condition”. Companies can check their own office printers or PCs for example. Nevertheless, the experts from S.E.M. and Koenig & Bauer were commissioned by Ba-disches Druckhaus to inspect the Commander CT. Koenig & Bauer now not only offers the latest press technology, but also the know-how to carry out DGUV inspections without interrupting produc-tion. “This order is a good example of how our customers can benefit from this partnership,” says Thomas Potzkai, head of service at Koenig & Bauer. The exchange of knowledge and the use of indi-vidual data from our own systems offers customers the greatest possible degree of security and advice.
Koenig & Bauer’s alliance with S.E.M. Servicegesellschaft
Koenig & Bauer expanded its product portfolio in 2018 in response to the expanding service business and strong customer demand. In cooperation with S.E.M. Servicegesellschaft, Koenig & Bauer can now offer almost all services relating to printing presses.
