Never before has there been such an abundance of new models presented at an IFRA Expo.

New press models - for conventional web offset and digital printing - were presented by the following manufacturers:

KBA: Commander CL (CL stands for Classic), a compact, mid-range four-high tower equipped with non-splittable H-type printing units, offered in different levels of automation. Configurable in accordance with the modular principle. More information on the Commander CL.

Goss International: Colorliner CPS (Compact Printing System), a compact press with non-splittable printing units that can be ordered in the 4/2, 5/2 and 6/2 configurations. Various automation modules are available. More information on the Colorliner CPS

manroland:Coloman e:line in blanket-to-blanket design. The level of automation can be determined by using autoprint modules. A High-Quality Package is offered for the production of magazine-type objects. More information on the Colorman e:line

Wifag: Featured the press it has developed for digital web printing that is reported to offer low-cost alternatives both for shorter print runs and maximum production flexibility. More information on the Wifag digital press

TKS: Jetleader 1500, a Drop-on-Demand ink-jet newspaper press. Maximum production speed is 150 m/min and the resolution is 600 x 600 dpi. More information on the Jetleader 1500
