The future-proof concept, the modern control with straightforward connection to the company’s internal workflow, and the quality of the engineering were all mentioned by the customer as the most important reasons for selecting the system from Switzerland. Once again, Ferag was able to gain the confidence of this Dutch customer.
A key role has been assigned to production planning using Navigator. An optimization function means that it's possible to preset the sequence of bundles arriving at the loading docks, and also the number of bundles that are allowed to deviate from the set values. Drivers can see real-time information about the bundle sequence on large screens at the loading docks.
An application has been specially integrated into the Navigator control at the request of the customer that allows production planning to preset printing speeds in line with actual production conditions. Using a client, the settings are displayed for the press operator on the control console. Thanks to this adjustment function, production on the MultiStack compensating stackers is guaranteed without overflow, even when the number of small bundles is high.
