The company will be divided into three independent divisions.
Under the terms of the plan, the location in Augsburg, with the web printing systems, will be sold to the Possehl [1]group. Confidentiality was agreed concerning the price of the transaction.
A participation in the Plauen location at a later date is possible; the plant will be transferred to a new company.
It is planned to stabilise the location in Offenbach (sheet-fed printing systems) by means of a joint management buy-out with an investor. A public guarantee for the financing concept will be required.
In future, some 1500 employees will be based at the Augsburg location, a total of 750 in Offenbach and about 300 in Plauen.
