Marco Bardazzi is Digital Editor at La Stampa in Turin, Italy.  

His career as a journalist began in 1986. He has worked for the ANSA news agency in Florence, Milan, New York, Washington DC. He was founder and Editor-in-Chief of “Reality Magazine”, one of the first Italian online magazines.  

While in the US, he covered three presidential campaigns, the first international Al Qaeda trial in Manhattan, the September 11, 2001 attack on America, and the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq.  
He won the 2005 edition of Premio Saint-Vincent di Giornalismo, one of the most important journalism awards in Italy.  He teaches “Innovation in journalism” at the Università Cattolica Master in Journalism in Milan. 

Marco is the author of La Scala Spezzata (The Broken Ladder), a novel on the Lindbergh kidnapping and the American ‘Trial of the century’ in the 1930’s. His latest book, L’ultima Notizia (Rizzoli, with Massimo Gaggi) is an essay on the future of journalism in the digital age. He is one of the founders of the U.S. based Crossroads cultural centers.
