Yoshikazu MIKAMI, author and journalist and currently Professor of Journalism and Media at Mejiro University in Tokyo, graduated from Sophia University and Tsukuba Graduate School and was a journalism fellow at Columbia University in NY for 2 years. After working for Agence France-Presse, Reuters and Time magazine, he became a full-time writer, publishing some 20 books which include a non-fiction book on Aung San Suu Kyi, the Burmese Nobel Peace Prize winner and the pro-democracy movement leader.
