Markus founded Eljester in 2014, with the goal to disrupt and inspire the media business through building new media channels as well as advising publishers and others in digital transition and innovation. He's currently a consultant for WAN-IFRA on the media innovation hub. Before Eljester, Markus worked at Resultatfabriken Consulting as a management consultant with focus on digital properties, and for Göteborgs-Posten (GP) and Stampen Media Group with social media, CRM and business intelligence. He was instrumental in growing GP's presence on social media to a market leading position, as well as in building a staff program for raising insight and engagement for trends and opportunities in the media industry. He's also been hired a media speaker and trainer in for instance Germany, Italy, Sri Lanka and Thailand.
