Lockhart Steele is the editorial director of Vox Media, overseeing editorial content across all seven brands published by Vox Media: The Verge, Vox.com, SB Nation, Curbed, Eater, Racked, and Polygon. In 2004, Steele founded the Curbed Network, the publisher of three sites -- Curbed, Eater, and Racked -- which was purchased by Vox Media in 2013. Prior to founding the Curbed network, Steele served as the managing editor of Gawker Media, where he oversaw company-wide editorial operations and expansions.
