Digital Media Asia Conference to be held from 23 to 25 November 2011
The winners will be honoured at the Asian Digital Media Awards reception, to be held at WAN-IFRA's Digital Media Asia 2011 conference, which will take place in Hong Kong from 23 to 25 November. It will be the first time Hong Kong hosts Asia's premier digital publishing event.
“With the mobile Internet and always-connected generation, publishers must transition from the 'MMM' approach -- multimedia, multichannel and multiplatform -- to a 'smart media' strategy to profitably engage consumers and increase the average revenue per user ,” said Thomas Jacob, Deputy CEO of WAN-IFRA and Managing Director for Greater Asia. "Our industry's future depends on this, and the conference and the Digital Media Awards are designed to help publishers achieve this goal."
The third Digital Media Asia conference will address the challenges facing publishers in the areas of Online & Social Media, Tablet Publishing and Mobile Media.
