Summary

As a logical follow-up of the feasibility study on runnability and printability (Ifra Special Report 1.16), it was decided to continue the investigation on that subject. However, this project was more focused on the runnability aspects than on printability. But, out of the previous project conclusions, it was clear that a research aimed at finding out a practical method to predict the paper performance on press would have no chance of success, while a research aimed at giving practical tips to printers would be much more helpful and interesting.
