Reading, UK, 02.06.11— Helsingborgs Dagblad, the fifth largest newspaper in Sweden, is live on the Atex Advertising solution for all its newspapers and magazines. With Atex Advertising, Helsingborgs Dagblad now has a single system to manage the end-to-end advertising workflow from order-entry to billing and reporting for both print and digital ads.

Helsingborgs Dagblad is using Atex Advertising to standardize ad operations across all products. This allows the company to implement best practices to improve efficiency and productivity with the flexibility to meet changing market trends. For ad and page production the Atex system helps reduce the number of manual steps that Helsingborgs Dagblad used previously.

“We chose Atex because we felt it helped future-proof our advertising department,” said Anders Nilsson, Helsingborgs Dagblad System/Production Manager. “With Atex we feel we have the technology to take advantage of new business opportunities as soon as they arise, instead of having to invest in new systems and functionality.”

Helsingborgs Dagblad also uses the Atex analytics engine. This provides greater insight into the entire advertising business—allowing the company to track individual accounts, sales reps and customers. Having this information at its fingertips helps Helsingborgs Dagblad see exactly where customers are spending on advertising. Then they can focus resources in these important areas.

Nilsson continued: “Together with Atex, we did a great job of meeting the project plan exactly as planned. Go-live went smoothly without any issues.”

“At Atex we are pleased that Helsingborgs Dagblad has successfully implemented the Atex Advertising system,” said Jonas Bringle, Atex Managing Director Scandinavia. “We look forward to working with them going forward to continue to improve their advertising business.”
