08.09.11 - For Protecmedia, the key to editorial success lies in the way things are done; how you do it marks the difference between business success and failure. During the next IFRA Expo, Protecmedia will show that it has everything that editors need to achieve success based on three essential aspects: integration, creativity and business. The new version 6.5.1 of its MILENIUM Cross Media software platform puts within editors’ reach all of the ingredients to enable them to achieve business success thanks to its modular structure, its single cross media work interface for all professionals and integration into a single workflow of all sectors involved in the day-to-day functioning of the company, among other advantages. The difference is the way that we do it, since Protecmedia solutions provide the key to achieving success in an editorial project.

Protecmedia will also present its new ITER Web solution, a Web CMS which is the first of a new generation of this type of applications, given its innovative and modern nature. ITER is designed to simplify the whole webpage environment, offering the journalist everything he requires to publish contents without the need for specialist knowledge. Based on free software (Open Source), ITER brings simplicity to the world of web publications, ensuring that journalists do not waste time on technical work so that they can do their actual work, namely providing content for the portal, thus achieving a modern web that is visually attractive and ready to make the most of the possibilities offered by the Web 2.0.

Protecmedia is also aware of the importance that digital channels currently have and will present the latest versions of its viewers for iPad and the different smartphones, featuring a series of new functionalities that boost their performance and specifications. Through these new functionalities, the viewers markedly improve browsing and the reader’s interaction with the different publications, while also allowing him to customise his newsstand to differentiate it from the rest, adapting it to suit his preferences and priorities.

MILENIUM Cross Media allows editors to offer their audiences the most attractive content for the different channels of communication, while respecting the singularities of each of them without this meaning greater structural costs. In addition, it makes possible in-depth knowledge of vital statistics, such as those concerning audience’s tastes, which allow companies to react accordingly so that the business functions correctly.
