As in Hamburg in 2015, we look forward to working with local and national media initiatives to bring visitors and exhibitors closer to the developments in the national media industry, while showcasing in the halls the latest international developments and current projects.

We will also continue to offer a number of strategic conferences to complement the exhibition programme at Messe Wien.

This time the Expo will be at Hall C, a new place for our major event, with entrance through Lobby D, closer to Krieau underground station (line U2) within easy reach of city center and all the attractions that Vienna has to offer.

The hall plan will be published in a few days time, for members wishing to book their exhibit space early. For this edition of the WPE we are planning a catering area in the middle of the hall as well as positioning the Media Port in an area which we hope will be better for the acoustics. There will also be a special offer for WPE 2015 exhibitors who would like to book early for 2016.

Vienna has excellent direct international connections by air with direct flights to Asia, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East), road and railway and a brand new central station.

The area surrounding the Messe itself has undergone an impressive transformation since the WPE was there previously. What was then an empty space is now been occupied by the Vienna University of Economics and Business (Wirtschaftsuniversität Wien) with new hotels and restaurants, as well as many interesting buildings designed by internationally known architects.

We are now also considering proposals for the World Publishing Expo 2017, whose venue we hope to announce before the summer break.
