GKS is pleased to officially announce their entry into the US after sales service and support market

Ringsted, 6 July 2015 – The Danish service provider GKS was founded in 1990 by Klaus Olsen and today it is the largest prepress service provider in Scandinavia and the UK with a high degree of equipment specialisation within offset and flexo prepress, processing, CtP and iCtP.

GKS is building up a team of more than 40 qualified field engineers/technicians and a base of third partycontractors to cover all geographic areas in the US. Everyone is right now undergoing an extensive training in both offset and flexo products. The training will be carried out during the coming months in the GKS, Quakertown facilities or at customer sites.

GKS is located in Quakertown, PA and therefore has an excellent geographical platform for rolling out it's after sales service concept in the entire US. GKS will be showcasing an open house event for all American customers to introduce them to the brand new facilities in Quakertown. The site focuses on optimised service and spare parts handling along with a training and demo centre.

GKS’ expansion into US is a part of the plan to expand the business coverage to include Western and Eastern Europe, and North America.

Over the years, GKS has built strong relationships in Scandinavia offering first class services to suppliers such as Agfa‐Gevaert, Fujifilm, Heidelberg and Kodak.

Services that GKS can offer include:
– installation and setup of new equipment
– maintenance and/or service contracts
– emergency on‐site support
– general trouble shooting
– hotline support
– supplies of original spare parts
– service to all major equipment brands and on non‐Glunz & Jensen manufactured equipment

Note: GKS uses only original spare parts in order to ensure highest possible performance and reliability for their customers.
