Paper production ceased at Madison Paper Industries in the US

(UPM, Helsinki, 25 May 2016 at 9:30 EET) – As announced in mid-March, Madison paper mill in the US has ceased paper production on May 21.

With the closure of the mill, UPM has reduced 195,000 tons of its supercalendered paper capacity in the U.S.
