Malayala Manorama, a leading Indian media organisation, focuses on powerful image automation with Elpical Claro

Giesbeek, The Netherlands, June 19th, 2018 – Malayala Manorama have implemented Elpical Claro for powering their automated image toning after significant business growth meant their legacy system couldn’t handle the expanded business operations.

Malayala Manorama’s executive director, Mr. George Jacob, worked with News Hub Media, a worldwide Elpical Channel Partner, to review and recommend Claro to meet the organization’s strict image quality and throughput requirements.

Deputy General Manager of Quality Assurance at Malayala Manorama, Mr. Susheel George, was fully immersed in the management of the project and stated, “We were in search of a robust and reliable software that could improve our quality in all aspects - especially the details in shadows and highlights of the image and providing optimal colour saturation. After rigorous testing with the News Hub Media team we discovered that Claro could do this better than any other automatic image enhancement software available.”

We simply cannot tolerate delays in our production process. This required us to think about faster and more efficient solutions.” “In this context, we appreciated the in-depth support from the News Hub Media team for creating an optimal workflow that met all of our stringent criteria for quality and operational efficiencies.”

Mr. George concluded “With implementing Claro, Malayala Manorama’s productivity capabilities have been expanded, and the auto colour correction provides enhanced output qualities that benefits both advertiser and reader.
