Dr Mathias Dähn leaves the company – Annual General Meeting postponed to 14 July 2020

03.04.2020 – With Mr Michael Ulverich and Dr Stephen M. Kimmich, the Supervisory Board of Koenig & Bauer AG appoints two new Management Board members.

From 15 April 2020, Mr Ulverich will take over the new Management Board position of the Chief Operating Officer. His future responsibilities include materials management, purchasing, logistics and the 'Industrial' production companies at the sites in Würzburg and Radebeul as well as the subsidiary in Frankenthal. Mr Ulverich was most recently Managing Director and Chief Operating Officer at Krauss-Maffei-Wegmann.

Dr Kimmich will also take over as CFO on 15 April 2020. Dr Kimmich was most recently Chief Financial Officer Europe, Middle East and Africa of Joyson Safety Systems and Managing Director of Joyson Safety Systems Germany GmbH. Dr Kimmich succeeds Dr Mathias Dähn, who will leave the company in agreement with the Supervisory Board on 30 April 2020. The Supervisory Board thanks Dr Dähn for his outstanding work for Koenig & Bauer. He has played a key role in the realignment and turnaround of Koenig & Bauer since 2014.

In order to further accelerate the digitisation offensive that has already been successfully launched, the Supervisory Board has also appointed the Management Board member Ralf Sammeck to take over the group-wide coordination of the digital transformation in addition to his previous areas of responsibility.

In the wake of the corona crisis and the associated uncertainties for holding meetings, this year's annual general meeting of the company will be postponed to Tuesday, 14 July 2020 in Würzburg.
