Assaf Avrahami holds BSc in mechanical and electrical engineering and an MBA in technological management and marketing. He holds a phd degree in the area of industrial management.

Avrahami is currently working as CEO of Yedioth Information Technology (the technology and online company of Yedioth group) – the company is also running the e-vrit project. Earier in his carrer, Avrahami served as a major in the Israeli Navy, and as CEO of Yedioth communication press (the printing company of Yedioth group).
