Ms. Helene Juhola is the Director R&D at the Federation of the Finnish Media Industry in Helsinki, Finland and the agent of Media Industry Research Foundation in Finland.. Finnmedia is an umbrella organisation for the mass media and the graphic arts industry supported by the majority of the Finnish media companies. Helene is leading the team responsible for sector strategies, innovation programmes and future competences in the media industry. She is the member of the leadership team of the Finnish Next Media Programme and the coordinator of eReading work package. For the time being she is organizing a Nordic Next Media Program and participating in WAN-IFRA Openmedia initiative.

Ms. Juhola holds a M. Sc. Tech. degree from the Technical University of Helsinki. She was earlier engaged at VTT as the Research Manager of Media Research field until 2004. She is also a former president of Iarigai (Print and Media Research, 2003 - 2011).
