Anthony is the Editor-in-Chief of Circa.

Anthony was previously the Reuters Social Media Editor, integrating the “ambient wire” that exists on social networks, where news now breaks before anywhere else, into Reuters platforms. He was also host of Reuters TV's "Tech Tonic" and a Reuters columnist. 

In 2011, he received a Reuters Journalism Award for Best Innovation in Storytelling. The New York Times declared him "The undisputed King of Tumblr" based on soupsoup.tumblr.com which according to Competetor is in the top 25 of over 2.3 million tumblogs and among the top 200 blogs in the world listed on Technorati and on Feb 23, 2010, his blog cracked the Technorati Top 100.
