Budiman Tanuredjo, graduated his Bachelor Degree in Nuclear Engineering from Gadjah Mada University in 1990 and earn his Master Degree in Political Science from University of Indonesia in 2003.  He first joined Kompas Daily in 1989 as a correspondent in DI Yogyakarta. He then became a full-time reporter since 1991, specialized on reporting law, justice, human right issues. Currently, He is the Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Kompas Daily.
