David Best studied Media Management at University of Mainz and completed his degree in 2008. After completion of his degree, Best worked as an assistant to the management for Zweitausendeins, a German multichannel book seller and publisher. In 2011, he started working for Kirchner + Robrecht management consultants, a German consultancy, focusing on the publishing industry. He advises on business development, digital product development and system selection and implementation. Furthermore, he is involved in the publishing of white papers on various relevant issues like paid content, cloud computing in the media industry and editorial systems.
