Javier is Managing Partner of Bird & Bird LLP office in Madrid and Head of the Information Technology, Commercial and Dispute Resolution groups in Spain.
Javier advises a wide range of Spanish and international clients and has been at the forefront of reaching settlement agreements in some of the most significant disputes in the IT consultancy and media sectors in Spain. He was one of the first Privacy specialists in Spain in the 1990's.
An arbitrator at the Information and Communication Technologies department of the Chamber of Commerce of Madrid, Javier is also a CEDR (Centre for Effective Dispute Resolution) accredited mediator and advised on a number of alternative dispute resolution cases. He is member of CPR Panel of Distinguished Neutrals and its European Advisory Board.
