Markus Brehm has held the position of Chief Executive at the Allgäuer Zeitungsverlag GmbH since 1993.

Since this time, the publishing house in southern Bavaria has undergone a transformation from a newspaper house to the Media Group Allgäuer Zeitung. Its core product continues to be the daily newspaper, published with 8 editions and some 270,000 readers daily.
