He entered the industry in 1965 with a five-year apprenticeship in the UK, followed by 20 years in Australia working in print production, sales, marketing and management. In 1988, he returned to Europe working in Munich and Madrid for the Eurografica consultancy, followed by business development director of MEGTEC Systems. Owner of industrial marketing agency VIM, co-founder and manager WOCG, and Project and Publishing Manager for PrintCity. Author of multiple reports and guides for the printing industry. Formal education includes printing in the UK, management in Australia, and Masters in industrial marketing, Paris CNAM.
