An engineer and an MBA, he held senior editorial positions in The Hindu Business Line, where he started his career, and Business Today, before joining HT Media Ltd as part of the start-up team of Mint. Sukumar has an enduring interest in technology, business strategy, and comic books. He is based in New Delhi.
