The Complicated Balance: The Italian publishing and printing industry facing ever-changing scenarios
Does it still make sense to talk about newspapers and daily “printed” news in the digital age? Yes, especially in countries like Italy, where printers are reorganizing the business to propose a wider choice of opportunities to print, in the same plant, dailies, magazines and commercial products, lowering the costs and developing a better performance, quality and time-to-market opportunities. It’s a time for exciting strategies.
Digital Editorial Platforms: Is the topic still up-to-date? Yes! Publishers worldwide are developing new business models to expand their capabilities after investing in the multimedia platforms. It’s a time for the creative mind.
Advertisers in a multi-channel publishing industry: Do they still a role to play? Absolutely. It's a role that goes beyond tradition, a role that explores the new territories of the communication business to bring together readers, media and advertising. It’s time for the pioneers.
With the headline "The Complicated Balance: The Italian publishing and printing industry face ever-changing scenarios ", WAN-IFRA Italia 2015, the international conference for the Italian newspaper publishing and printing industry, will focus on one of the current main hot topics in our industry: Where to find the resources to balance the "economics" of the printing and publishing industry, in a scenario where everything is fast changing?
WAN-IFRA Italia 2015, now in its 18th year, will bring on stage successful experiences, best practices, and new ideas on how to get resources for the industry, in the city of Bologna, on 17-18 June.
This international conference, usually attended by around 250 professionals of the publishing and printing industry, will take place in the Savoia Regency Hotel and Congress Centerin Bologna. This gathering will offer all participants, apart from the two days of inspiring talks and networking times, the opportunity to discover the traditional culture of this great Italian city at the informal dinner offered in the evening of 17 June.
Simultaneous translation will be provided for Italian and English.
