Guy Crevier is President of Gesca, a Canadian publisher of newspapers and news websites, as well as President and Publisher of the daily newspaper La Presse, Canada’s French-language news medium of record.

Mr. Crevier has also overseen the company’s diversification into TV production, book publishing and digital businesses with the acquisition of interests in Workopolis, Canada’s leading online job posting and career solutions website, in DuProprio Inc., the country’s largest commission-free real estate sales service, and in Olive Media, one of Canada’s premier online advertising networks.

A 30-year veteran of the communications industry, Mr. Crevier began his career as a journalist, before moving on to hold executive positions in several major media companies. He has, among others, been President of a television network (TVA), a telecommunications company (Vidéotron), and a film and television producer and distributor (Motion international).
