Nitesh Chawla, PhD is the Frank Freimann Associate Professor of Computer Science and Engineering and the Director of Interdisciplinary Center for Network Science and Applications (iCeNSA), and Data Inference Analytics and Learning (DIAL), focused on Big Data, network science, and data science at the University of Notre Dame. He is the founder of Aunalytics, Inc, a Big Data start-up. A prodigious and award-winning researcher, he has authored or co-authored over 150 publications. He received the IBM Watson Award in 2012, the IBM Big Data Award in 2013, and is the Chair of the IEEE CIS Task Force on Big Data.
