The XMA competition focuses on a new topic every year. Here you will find a short review of them:

The first year of the XMAs covered the World Football Cup.

  • In 2006 for the Football World Cup drew in 65 projects, covering the top-world event of that year.
  • The motto Communities enhanced 50 projects in 2007, which demostrated original ways on building communities and involving readers in the production of editorial contents.
  • One year later the topic Cross Media Advertising attracted 66 projects that best featured the messages of commercial customers.
  • 2009 saw 38 projects presented to the Design & Branding contest, with newspaper brands achieving a great level of interactivity and recognisement to their companies.
  • Last year, under the slogan Local a record number of 79 projects provided impressive exampes of how publishers reach their local customers when implementing crossmedia strategies.
