Following the agreement signed at the end of 2010 by manroland and Océ to cooperate globally in the area of inkjet-based digital solutions for the graphics industry, Heidelberger Druckmaschinen and the Ricoh Company Ltd. have now announced a global strategic cooperation in order to help their clients complement their core offset printing business with digital print solutions.

For its part, KBA has signed an agreement with RR Donnelley (RRD) in Chicago, global provider of integrated communications and printing solutions. “Under the terms of the agreement, RR Donnelley will license its Apollo and other digital imaging technologies to KBA which will incorporate them into its press offerings,” a KBA press release says.
