manroland has added a new model to its portfolio of presses: Cromoman 4/1, developed especially for Indian newspapers .

Up to now, the Cromoman has been available in a single-width version and as a 3/1 model. Due to its performance capacity, a new double-width Cromoman is designed to be in a position to replace four existing single-width presses.

The press is reported to be simple to operate and attuned especially to local conditions, such as newsprint and other consumables, power supply and conditions in the press hall.
