Jens Maul (45), the newly appointed head of web press after-sales service activities at KBA in Würzburg.

06.10.11 - With effect from 1 October Koenig & Bauer AG (KBA) in Würzburg has appointed Jens Maul (45), an experienced engineer and respected service expert in the printing press sector, as the group’s new head of web press after-sales services for customers worldwide.

After completing a technical apprenticeship Mr Maul took a degree in machine engineering and gained his initial work experience as a design engineer and project manager for special presses. In 1993 he joined the newspaper press engineering and project management department at manroland in Plauen. He later switched to installing and commissioning before setting up a project and installation management unit for newspaper presses. In 1997 he was made head of the installation and commissioning department, and three years later also took over service activities as vice-president. The in-depth expertise thus gained in technical servicing, spare parts and remote maintenance will stand him in good stead in his new position, as will his customer and market focus, his many contacts among web printers and his experience in personnel management.

Jens Maul has two children with his domestic partner. His hobbies include mountain biking and motorcycling.
