25.10.11 - Bell Media, Canada’s leading multimedia company, has signed an agreement for Atex’s Web Content Management Solution. The company will use the system to manage its content publishing workflows for 14 major properties, rolling out the system throughout its business in a second phase.

With Atex’s Web CMS, Bell Media will streamline the planning, creation, enrichment and delivery of multichannel content for CTVNews.ca, CP24.com and 12 of CTV’s local news sites.

Bell Media will be able to take advantage of the system’s centralized management, information sharing capabilities, reduce its manual processes and make content available for publication on any digital device.

Gary Anderson, Head of Bell Media Digital, comments, “We are very pleased to have selected Atex’s Web CMS solution which we expect to hugely benefit our business. In particular, its integrated text mining feature will help ensure visitors stay on the site longer and generate new advertising revenue for us. We will also be able to easily create new products and landing pages filled with related articles and advertising.”
Scott Roessler, CEO, Atex North America, comments, “We are delighted that Bell Media has selected Atex Web CMS for its content management. As the company expands, our system has the reliability, flexibility and scalability to meet its needs and help it stay ahead of the competition.”
