As announced in a joint press release of both publishing houses on 28 October 2011, Medienhaus B. Boll, publisher of the Solinger Tageblatt GmbH & Co. KG, has acquired all brand and publishing rights of the Remscheider General-Anzeiger (RGA) with its ring papers, Wermelskirchener General-Anzeiger, Hückeswagener Stadtanzeiger and Radevormwalder Zeitung, from J. F. Ziegler KG, Druckerei und Verlag in Remscheid. The printing plant in Remscheid-Überfeld will be closed after 31.12.2011.
