The Ramada hotel, above, will host the Forum in January 2012

WAN-IFRA and local hosts, The Tunisian League of Human Rights, are delighted to welcome you to Tunis for the 5th Arab Free Press Forum.

Delegates have two options for accommodation when they attend the Forum. The conference venue, the Ramada Hotel in Gammarth, is situated 20 minutes from Tunis airport and 25 minutes from the city centre. This resort hotel offers free Wifi and excellent rooms. Rates are 75 Euros a night for single occupancy.  We recommend, for ease, that you stay at this hotel.

Alternatively, for those who would like to stay in Tunis city centre, we recommend the Carlton Hotel. There will be a shuttle bus between the conference venue and the Carlton Hotel leaving each morning and evening.  It is about a 30 minute drive.  Taxis to the city centre are around 15 Euros.

Please follow the links below to book your stay in these hotels. For the Ramada hotel, please quote "AFPF-2012" as the booking code once you have registered for the Forum.

Participation in the 5th Arab Free Press Forum is free, but we advise all participants that it is your responsibility to organise your travel to Tunis and pay for your accommodation.

Please bear in mind that you are responsible for your own visa application and payment, and may not be let into the country without one. Visit http://tunisia.visahq.com for more information on which nationalities require a visa for Tunisia and where you can apply for one.

We look forward to seeing you in Tunis.
