Business Report 2011

’Attractive opportunities for those who like risks’

The big advertising groups characterise what happened this past year as a mere slowdown. Television, once described as an endangered old medium, continues to perform remarkably. The broadcasters’ business model is confronted with new challenges, such as mobility and connected devices, and the changes in TV consumption they imply. Future Press: Where are we heading?

“Anyone who has visions should go see a doctor!“ The quote is attributed to former German Chancellor Helmut Schmidt, who is known for his pragmatic attitude. However, when translated into strategic goals, visions can provide guidelines for present-day action.
