Once again the renowned International Newspaper Color Quality Club starts anew for its 2014-2016 turn. By the time of closure of registration, over 160 titles have registered for the bi-annual quality contest which shows that it still enjoys great popularity.

The first print samples from the participants have arrived and measurements will start very soon.

Central Europe traditionally represents the biggest portion of the entrants (this time 54) followed by South Asia (31). The number of titles from Middle East and Latin America show a growing tendency, and for the first time two titles from North Africa participate in the quality benchmarking.

In the next months test print evaluations and reportings follow the usual routine. The winners will be announced in summer and officially honoured in October at the World Publishing Expo 2014 in Amsterdam. More information on the Color Quality Club competition (and the changes compared to 2012-2014) can be found on the Color Quality Club website.
